My father would LOVE these lights for when he takes the dog out for a walk. These combo packs give you a good sampling. But at $5 each, these Husky penlights are a strong value. No, I won’t be benching my FourSevens Preon 2 anytime soon. The 165-lumen light looked basic, but decent, and the penlights are priced really low. I bought enough of the combos that I think I have one of every flashlight style.

In the car, I keep a Rayovac LED flashlight from a previous Home Depot holiday season, loaded with Energizer Lithium batteries.ĭuracell flashlights? Okay, I bought these too. So I cleaned it up, and it’s still working perfectly. Maglite has an agreement where they’ll replace the flashlight if brand-name batteries leak, but I didn’t feel like paying to ship it back to them. The last time I kept a Maglite in the car, it leaked.
